V4’s find on Tuesday!
Today’s word was ‘Valiant’. The incarnation of Jesus truly is the most valiant thing I’ve ever heard of. I found this site helpful to gain an honest understanding of our own paradoxical journey with the Divine.

V4’s find on Monday
Today’s word was veracious! God is the only Truth. All else is shifting sand and is subject to change. As I looked for a verse that encapsulated this truth, I found this 8 year old post on a site by Pastor Rory Clark, https://barahministries.com/Message/1057/Getting-To-Know-God-God-is-Veracious-So-What. In it, he wrote not only of verses that verify the claim, but also about why it mattered.
U4’s find for Thursday!
The word for today was ‘unsurpassed’. It was a word that denotes God’s power at work in His children. When we gather, there He is among us.

Today’s word was ‘Undercurrent’. It spoke to me of what is beyond the reach of this world. I found this site to be helpful: https://jonathancdow.com/god-of-the-undercurrent. In it, Jonathan expresses what it is to be more interested in what God is bringing his way, than the regular flotsam and jetsam that comes our way. Enjoy!

S4’s Find on Saturday!
Back in the day, Dan Henderson and his Dad invited me to come and perform at Bless Fest. It was a totally free event in downtown Lansing, MI. There were many different types of bands that played at it – rap, rock, gospel, worship, and acoustic etc., games for kids, and good food for all.
I don’t think much has changed since those days. It’s been going on every summer for over 20 years, and this year it will be August 24th, 25th, and 26th. More information can be found on their website at:

S4’s Find on Friday!
The word today is ‘Syllogism’ as God is my logic in this emerging ‘post-Christian’ culture. Why do they want to embrace madness? With a laugh and a smile, they lead us to our doom. After all, with enough money, a bribe can change definitions too. Well, no matter what may come, choose this day Whom you will serve. Your decision may not show up in the voting box, but how we live each day does.
I found this site to be helpful, https://apologetics.com/syllogisms-bible/. I used it to help explain what ‘syllogism’ was to my wife. Paul’s reasoning in 2 Corinthians 5 was not as easily put into syllogistic form as I thought. Maybe I’m wrong? I found his comments to be too complex and had to ‘dumb’ them down a bit. An example from John 3:16 that I used in today’s septet was, “You loved the world. I am part of this world. You love me.” It may be a bit elementary, but that’s what I got.
