“Everything I thought defined reality… doesn’t define You.”
“Everything I thought defined reality… doesn’t define You.”
“Signal: exposed → unbound.”
In this breaking of form, Quickthorn sings of such things today’s church isn’t ready for.
They say that legendary things come in threes.
The second solar eclipse of 2024, the 5th Family Edition of the 182, and now the release of the newest single, “Fading World/Ending Life” equals the next trifecta of awesomeness.
FW/EL is the latest audio chapter soon to be featured on Distrokid.
You are invited to the musical shindig of the year, once again featuring the guitarstro mastermind Brad Fortuna, and the lovely vocal powerhouse Gwendolyn Carter.
Unleash the legacy.
My previous post had 7 comments about the 182, sooo I didn’t feel like I could continue that thread. Especially with how the Spirit is moving in my thoughts and prayers now in reference to using my ignorance & the world’s need. I watched a 3-day-old video from the World Economic Forum about ‘Digital Inclusion’, (Found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJ5fq9POzLw) and my mind was racing. Partly because of, for centuries, missions have played a vital role in the development of cultures and languages, and partly because LLMs are finally being developed in other languages than English, and because big business and the private sector are taking over. I know the world can’t trust in anyone other than Christ to act in their best interest.
The need for ‘Digital Inclusion’, let alone literacy in general, amongst the “2.5 billion people” that don’t have access is obviously great. The 182 could help to give spiritual access to a vocabulary solely developed for the prayer-life of the inhabitants. Like the LLMs, I feel the need to open this up to other languages. May God bless this as AI is closing so many doors – I’ve read estimates of 14 million jobs by 2027.
If you are a church leader, AI may be the cause of a great wave in the coming harvest. May His Name be praised. On a side note, I have been singing Daniel ch. 9 to God. No discernible melodies or chorus, just singing about repentance and God’s mercy and forgiveness. I know it’s been more catchy to do a ‘Daniel Fast’, but if you want to be ‘highly esteemed’ by the heavenly courts, how about you give it a try? God bless you!
I don’t want the erosion of my prayers to be my story.
No matter the joy
No matter the peace
All can be taken away here
All except Him
Make the Lord your joy
Make the Almighty your peace
If you do, there is shelter
If you do, there is hope
One Day we will be taken to Him.
There is an ‘Empty’ place.
A place that seems void of Life, yet that is the place most ripe for growth.
We sense it in the wind, in the sunrise, and in the rain.
We were meant to grow, not where we are, but where God sends us.
Now is the Time, Now is the place.
We move according to His direction.
We shine wherever we go, it’s what we do.
He is the Light and we are His children.
How many of us keep a ouija board in our closet
because “an eye for an eye”, makes more sense than
“love your enemies”?
Is it ok to hate the memory of a person?
What is freedom,
and do we really want it?
Will we surrender the power and pleasure
of revenge to the only hands
that can contain it?
The only hands that won’t have the finger point back?
We need holiness.
We need perfection.
It is the only way
to make this world right,
to cure it.
Our efforts will only make it worse
because we aren’t holy or perfect.
The best we can accomplish is to play games.
If everyone pretends the same
then we can mete out our own sense of justice,
our own sense of righteousness
that agrees with our pain.
O Jesus,
Your love saves us from ourselves.
You freely give us Your righteousness,
one that is spotless
one that isn’t fake
one purchased by Your blood.
What could we give You for it?
What can we give to the One who is holy and perfect?
What? You want our ouija boards?
