X4’s find on Saturday/Sunday!

“Xylose,” was yesterday’s/today’s word. “Sugar from wood doesn’t seem that difficult for You who brought water from a rock,” was the first line of what I thought about with this one.  It lead to over an hour long conversation with my sons about Exodus 17 and the 400 year mind job God was breaking His people from.  The wandering, the teaching, the water from the rock if God’s people would just trust in Him who parted the waters.  This is a nugget of the OT repeated throughout the Bible.  Were they ready for what God had in store, and its ultimate fulfillment in Jesus?

  1. Another one for today was “Xylophone”. God alone makes the best music out of hard things. And it’s only heard when they are hit hard enough with another hard thing. Ow!

I found David T. Lamb’s site helpful to think about. Check out what he did with Psalm 119!!! Wow!
