A Generation Under Threat

I know there has been a lot going on this October, but here’s another thing that woke me up early during the day I get to sleep-in.  As rescue teams and volunteers clean up/rebuild Helene’s devastation across the SE, and Israel and Iran throw missiles at each other, meanwhile election ads are non-stop, it may be hard to hear what I am about to say, but it seems appropriate as we watch things take their turn.

A little backstory might elucidate what I believe can help change the course of future generations.  So much confusion and chaos overwhelm my kids’ generation, but I know God’s will is sovereign and will not be stopped.  It is much like the solar eclipse we just saw, it is untouched by anyone and happened regardless of will and emotion.  Maybe it’s from witnessing that celestial event that uncovered my heart to say this.  Due to many things, and for those who accept it, I believe the anointing of Enoch is falling upon my kids’ generation.

Isn’t that some kind of cult thing?  I don’t know, but what I do know is due to my Dad and his brothers’ dedication to genealogical research, I am from the 188th generation from Adam.  This might not mean much, but I was listening to ‘Off the Kirb Ministries’ and Joe was talking about Enoch being of the 7th generation from Adam.  He described Enoch as the world’s first preacher.  I then thought of my kids’ generation number of the 189th and divided it by Enoch’s 7th generation, and got the 27th.

You may be asking what does any of this mean?  Maybe nothing, but maybe something much greater than a solar eclipse.  From a Google search, the next annular solar eclipse is set to occur on Feb. 17, 2026.  The next generation from Enoch will come in over 200 years.  None of us, save maybe Beyonce, will live to see that day.  If my math is correct, it might be safe to say Generation X is the 188th generation from Adam, and our children are the 189th.  If our kids will choose to carry the Light of Christ to future generations, in connection with Enoch’s role as the ‘world’s 1st preacher’, it is their birthright.

I’m speaking to my kids’ generation now.  Whether or not you are of the 189th generation, you have a choice.  Either disappear in the madness of agendas that would seek to snuff you out, or stand and shine with the Light of Jesus.  His Light is the only one that saves, John 8:12.

  1. Here is a link to the video where Joe Kirby explains about Enoch.

  2. It seems appropriate to mention that the 188th generation among my own family spans quite a long gap of time. It not only includes Generation X, but some of my cousins are still having kids.

When I think about it, other paramount generations that were also under threat: Moses’ and Jesus’. Now, neither of those had as calm and sensible a threat as ‘population control’, but Satan has been out to make murder and madness as palpable as possible.

Rise up, generation of Enoch! Take your place as the messengers of God, as harbingers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For without Him, future generations will be left in darkness.
